Why am I not receiving notifications?

If you have reminders set for events but aren’t receiving them, the most likely reason is Notifications are turned off in your iPhone preferences.  You can fix this by turning them back on:

  • Go to your iPhone Settings app.
  • Select Notifications > Timepage.
  • Ensure “Allow Notifications” is turned on.
  • Ensure the other options are turned on and the alert style is “Banners” or “Alerts".

It is also important to make sure that "Background App Refresh" is enabled for Timepage. Timepage needs to be able to occasionally check for updated events and reschedule notifications accordingly:

  • Go to your iPhone Settings app.
  • Select General > Background App Refresh.
  • Ensure "Background App Refresh" is enabled at the top of the screen.
  • Ensure it is also enabled for Timepage specifically.
